During his visit to Syria and Lebanon last May, Mel Duncan met with representatives of the Syrian government, religious leaders, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Hezbollah, the nonviolent opposition, the Free Syrian Army and the U.N. Most important, he talked with refugees in Lebanon and internally displaced people in rebel held territories in Syria.
