"Nonviolent Peaceforce Protecting Civilians" by Doris Mariani, NP CEO
Nonviolent Peaceforce CEO Doris Mariani will be giving a talk about the organization’s work to protect civilians. Nonviolent Peaceforce is an international organization that works to promote the safety and security of civilians in conflict areas. Our peacekeepers work unarmed to prevent and reduce violence and to provide protection for civilians. Nonviolent Peaceforce has four active field programs in South Caucasus, South Sudan the Philippines, and Myanmar.
Whether you are a long time supporter of Nonviolent Peaceforce or newly-introduced, we would love for you and
a guest to join us. Doris will be talking about the current work of Nonviolent Peaceforce and the new direction we
are taking to promote unarmed civilian peacekeeping around the world. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn
about the effectiveness of unarmed civilian peacekeeping and what your support is allowing us to do.
