The 2013-2014 Progress Report is out now!

Date: November 10, 2014

NP Progress Report 2013-14The last 18 months have been quite "the year" here at NP with a lot of notable progress as will be seen in our 2013-2014 report which is now out. Due to the unwavering support from our donors, staff, volunteers and partners, NP has been able to accomplish a significant number of projects.

 (Published Nov. 10, 2014)

In the Philippines for instance, we set up 29 Early Warning Early Response (EWER) structures serving over 100 vulnerable villages thats are currently fully operational. We also trained over 1000 local civilian protection monitors in EWER and 34 Child Protection monitors.

In our South Sudan program, we were the first protection agency to stay in Juba during the extensive International NGO/ humanitarian agency evacuations and went on to provide protection support for those emergency humanitarian responses that stayed.

NP in Myanmar supported key stakeholders to the peace process as technical advisors, developed a ceasefire Montoring Manual translated to Burmese and conducted civilian trainings.

Youth in South Caucasus were trained in negotiation skills, unarmed civilian peacekeeping & nonviolent methodologies.

There’s a lot more in the report on each of our programs, our work in the past year and a half, and the outcomes of our work; as well as reporting on the advocacy and outreach that goes along with it.

It has been a very productive year for us, none of which would have been possible without our donors, supporters and all the hard work put in by our staff & volunteers.
We thank you all very much and urge you to continue supporting us and donating to enable the continuity of our work.
